Roundtables
BSSEC’s Roundtables bring together stakeholders, practitioners and decision-makers to explore key issues affecting the social economy across the West Midlands.
Through strategic discussion, shared learning and collaborative thinking, the Roundtables help strengthen the social economy ecosystem and inform policy, practice and future opportunities for the sector.
Why Roundtables matter?
-
Influence
Supporting dialogue that helps shape policy, practice and sector development.
-
Collaboration
Bringing together organisations and stakeholders to explore shared challenges and opportunities.
-
Insight
Generating strategic insight and shared learning to support a stronger social economy ecosystem.
How the Roundtables influence change
Insights and recommendations from the Roundtables are shared with the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) Social Economy Taskforce and help inform the ongoing development of the Social Economy Framework for Growth across the region.
Each Roundtable combines introductions from BSSEC CIC and expert speakers with open discussion, creating space for participants to share challenges, innovation, learning and sector experience.
The Roundtables are facilitated by Sarah Beaumont, Director and Strategic Lead at BSSEC CIC.
