WAITS: The Silver Ribbon Trail Launch Announcement

For Women. By Women

After nearly 30 years, WAITS charity has elevated the lives and dramatically improved the circumstances of over 10,000 individuals. An extraordinary achievement and worthy of celebration.

The Silver Ribbon Trail will be launched at Chapter Edgbaston, by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Maureen Cornish JP at 4.00pm ending in the grounds of St Philips Cathedral at 6.30pm

Join WAITS on a mile walk with 100 strong and elated women coming together in solidarity, their every step led by vibrant musicians, tying beautiful silk ribbons along the way in honour of all WAITS Survivors.

Not only this, on every decorated tree there will be motivational posters celebrating the great women who have overcome adversity or have achieved for the City of Birmingham.

All the way through the trail, there will be ‘replenish and refresh’ places with light refreshments, ice cream, mocktails, prosecco and cocktails by some of Birmingham’s iconic bars and restaurants; Chapter Edgbaston, Heidi’s Broad Street, The Rep and Dishoom.

For more information visit the Silver Ribbon Trail website.

To take part you must register – please email WAITS to book your place.

You can also donate to the cause using the JustGiving page for this event.
