This, just in from Pauline Roche, who is involved in organising the event below…
Do you work for, lead or govern a voluntary sector local support or infrastructure organisation?
Tuesday 24 June 2014, 10.00am-4.30pm
Do you want to get together with like-minded people for a day to discuss the important issues your organisation faces, that might have a digital solution?
Over 40 people have already booked!
After the success of VCSSCamp in 2013, we thought it would be a great idea to once again make a space for people from VCS Local Infrastructure Organisations across the country to meet (that’s CVSs and Volunteer Centres etc). The day will be in an unconference format so there is no set plan or agenda. All you need is a desire to talk about the many ways that social media and digital technology has changed the landscape we work in, and what we are doing and could be doing about and with it.
This event is intended for staff, managers, trustees and volunteers primarily working for or with local support organisations. Whilst we won’t refuse a ticket to others, due to capacity of the venue we may have to hold back bookings from other VCS organisations. We hope you understand.
Bookings are NOW OPEN, you can get your FREE place on the Eventbrite page.
The venue is the same as last year at Innovation Birmingham Campus, Holt Street, Birmingham Science Park, Aston, Birmingham, B7 4BB
