iSE calls for social enterprises to run events for CityDrive2020

News on CityDrive2020, fresh in from iSE…

Planning for CityDrive2020 — Birmingham’s very own week-long festival of social enterprise — is in full swing and we would love the involvement of the wider sector to help make this the best CityDrive yet. Please can you circulate the below to your networks and contacts – many thanks!

CityDrive is an exciting programme of events to raise awareness of businesses doing good and creating social impact and it has five calls to action: to inspire the people of Birmingham to start up, buy from, invest in, work for or volunteer with social businesses.

With the involvement of the wider sector we’ll make this the best CityDrive yet — iSE

CityDrive offers a programme of events in social enterprise spaces and other key locations across the city. It’s a way of telling more people about social enterprise in Birmingham and sharing the impact they create with new audiences; a way for the sector to reach out; an opportunity to pause and to reconnect, to do business, inter-trade, network, and learn. Ultimately, it’s about being part of something positive for our city.

Last year CityDrive saw a diverse programme of events raising awareness of the sector and providing space for discussion, learning, co-operation and participation.

This year CityDrive takes place 30th March-5th April 2020 and we want you to be involved!

Join us. Tell us what you want to do, where, and when. We’ll add it to our programme. Send mail to iSE for more. Deadline for submissions 30/01/2020.

Download the ‘Call to action’ graphic so you can include it in your own emails and social media.

Don’t forget the brand new social enterprise photography competition that kicks off CityDrive2020 — read about it here.
