Gateway Family Services CIC is a Birmingham-based flagship Social Enterprise at the cutting edge of providing community-based health and social care services. In its eighth year of trading it is looking for a leader to work with the new structures and commissioners in the health and social care public sector.
Position Title: Chief Executive Officer
Salary: circa £55,000
Hours per week: 37
The Chief Executive officer is responsible for leading the development and execution of the organisation’s long term strategy to achieve development and growth. Ultimately responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the business plan.
The role involves working with the Board and Senior Management team to develop the direction for the organisation as well as building key relationships with stakeholders, developing new business and managing the finance and reporting arrangements.
The successful applicant will be ambitious for the organisation, committed to the reduction of inequalities, experienced at a senior level and have a sound knowledge of the health, social and third sector.

Board Member Recruitment
We also have several vacancies on the Board of Non-Executive Directors. The Board sets the strategic direction for the organisation and provides the governance. This typically involves a commitment sharing knowledge and experience, reading monthly reports, providing feedback and attending early evening bi-monthly meetings and occasional events.
