Filling the Sydney Opera House four times…

According to JetPack — a WordPress analytics plug-in — that’s what readers of theBSSEC blog have done since April 2013.

Since going live in its new form, the BSSEC blog has had over 11,100 unique visits. If the blog were a concert at Sydney Opera House — which holds 2,700 people — it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

In 2013, there were 90 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 142 posts.

Interestingly, the busiest day of the year was April 29th with 159 views — and the most popular post that day was Birmingham City Council adopts ‘social value’ policy.

The blog has moved from having no social media presence to Twitter now being the top referring site.

You can read all the site analysis here.

Thanks to everyone who supports, reads and comments on the blog. And a Happy and socially enterprising New Year from everyone at BSSEC.
