Educator and writer Dr Rory Ridley-Duff, course leader for the MSc Co-operative & Social Enterprise Management course at Sheffield Business School, has an interesting item on his blog, written as part of the launch of the UN International Year of Co-operatives 2012.
He is also the author of a new book on social enterprise called Understanding Social Enterprise: Theory & Practice published in January 2011 by Sage.
In this short piece he reimagines Dragons’ Den twenty years in the future where stockbroking is a crime and the world has been transformed by the collapse of private capital and the global rise of social enterprise. Read it here.
Of course, one would like to think that in a justly ordered world there wouldn’t be any reality TV either, but then he wouldn’t have been able to write this piece…
If you enjoy the piece pass it on or link to it from your own blog.
Thanks to Tony at The Digbeth Trust for the pointer to this.
