Colebridge Enterprises (formerly Waterloo Woodwork & Colebridge Communications) is embarking on a new venture that will create ten new part time jobs for adults with a learning disability in Solihull.
The business is in the process of employing six people now with four more to follow before year end.
The new venture is the result of securing an order to undertake sub-assembly work for an automotive supplier. Further diversification is planned into this sector with the potential to create part time jobs for up to forty people by this time next year.
To date, Colebridge Trust only provided work experience and training for adults with a learning disability at its industrial unit in Chelmsley Wood, but the new venture will provide supported employment to a wide range of disadvantaged people.
Colebridge Enterprises will continue to offer outdoor timber products and services and is also in the process of further development of its Communications enterprise.
