Birmingham Commission for Children calls for views

The Children’s Society, in conjunction with the Birmingham Commission for Children has just circulated a call for views. This reads:

The Birmingham Commission for Children is an independent group of experts brought together to explore children’s lives and well-being in the city and hear their voices. The group of commissioners will hear from a range of children, young people and adults, and will present their final report to Birmingham City Council in September. Their work will, in part, support the strategic reviews of early year’s services and the council’s relationship with local schools.

The Commissioners would love to hear from you!

You can respond as an organisation, a group of young people, a professional, or as an interested party. All views are welcome.

The Commissioners especially want to hear the voices of Birmingham’s children and young people!

It is our hope that this call for views will provide the Commission with a rich understanding of childhood in Birmingham.

The questions asked in this call for views can be found here.

The Commission can be contacted on 012 1212 5599 or by sending email.
