We hope you like the new website

BSSEC

Yes, we’re almost finished on the new website — it’s been a lot of work, and long overdue, but we hope you like the results.

Thanks to the folks at Citizen Click who undertook this work for us, we are now able to manage every aspect of the new website. This will make it easier for us to keep the website fresh and informative, and to showcase work we are involved and issues that matter to the social enterprise sector.

Here’s a heads-up on new stuff you may have missed:

Social value: A major update on the work we are doing to help make the new social value legislation a workable reality for Birmingham City Council and the social enterprises and third sector organisations the council may seek to contract with.

Right to Challenge: A new briefing on the Community Right to Challenge.

Downloads: And you can still find our guide to business support and help, a new guide to finance for social enterprises, our popular guides to Developing a Social Enterprise and our Promoting Your Enterprise pack — and more — all here on the downloads page.

Social enterprises in the spotlight: We also have space to put Social Enterprises in the Spotlight — featuring social enterprises new and old with interesting stories to tell about what they offer, how and why, and notable successes? Fancy being in the spotlight? Then email me — alun<at>bssec<dot>org<dot>uk or use the contact form.
