Martineau Gardens seeks new Director

This, just in from Martineau Gardens

Martineau Gardens is a well established 2.5 acre community garden located in Edgbaston. We are a relatively small charity with nine staff and an annual budget of circa £150k.

Our gardens are tended by a team of people, most with learning disabilities and mental health issues, who volunteer on our therapeutic horticulture programme. In addition to being a leader in the field of therapeutic horticulture in Birmingham, we run an education programme for local school children.

We also provide opportunities for young people attending local special schools to work at the gardens.

Our current and long-serving Director, Caroline Hutton, is retiring in Spring 2018 and we are seeking a new Director.

Application deadline: Friday 10 November 2017, 5pm.
