Interesting coverage above of recent research by Manchester Metropolitan University research examining the track record of smaller co-operative providers being able to enter healthcare markets. Despite the launch of the government’s second wave of Pathfinder Mutuals, even these report that smaller co-operative and third sector providers are struggling to get onto local authority preferred supplier lists and are therefore “effectively” invisible to potential customers.
