iSE is seeking business coaches and advisers

Consortium development and organisational capacity building

iSE is seeking experienced free-lance Business Coaches/Consultants to work with social enterprises, voluntary and community organisations and charities on consortia development over a ten month period.

Applicants should have experience of partnership development, strategic development, consortia set up, business planning, financial planning, incorporation and legal frameworks and social value for successful consortia working. They should understand the business case for consortia working and be able to articulate it.

Consultants applying should be self-starters, well organised and a good communicators. They should be able to run successful meetings, deliver workshops, and work flexibly to support organisations to achieve their aims.

The work will involve supporting groups to work together to create consortiums to deliver health and social care contracts. Success will be evidenced by consortium formation.

This work will be delivered over the next three months and will require flexible working.

Outreach business coach

iSE is seeking an experienced Outreach Business Coach to work on their ERDF programme for approximately 6 months dependent upon start date. This post will work on the Growing the Social Enterprise Sector in the West Midlands Phase 2 project and is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

Experience of delivering ERDF programme is essential.

The purpose of the post is to provide outreach business advisory support to groups of individuals interested in establishing social enterprises and to existing social enterprises to promote sustainability.
