High Court judgement confirms: you have to stand up and be counted

An interesting story in today’s Third Sector Online covers the recent High Court ruling that Birmingham City Council’s withdrawal of around £1m of funding from thirteen advice agencies across the city. The High Court has found the decision unlawful — but has said in its judgement that only the funding of the three organisations that originally challenged the cuts (Birmingham Tribunal Unit, the Chinese Community Centre and the St James Support & Advice Centre) should have their funding reinstated.
