Greater Birmingham & Solihull LEP commissions social enterprise survey

The Digbeth Trust and partners have been commissioned by the Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) to conduct a ‘snapshot’ survey of social enterprises operating in the GBSLEP area (i.e. Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, Lichfield, Redditch, Solihull, Tamworth, and Wyre Forest).

The aim of the survey is to:

→ Gather information which will strengthen the evidence-base regarding the economic and social contribution of social enterprises, and

→ Clarify social enterprise business support needs and barriers to growth.

The results of this survey will be used by the GBSLEP to inform its investment plans for the future, including ERDF/ESF priorities, and it is therefore important that the survey reaches the widest possible audience.

If you want  social enterprise to be on the GBSLEP’s investment agenda now and in the future, help us strengthen the evidence-base by taking part in the survey. It will be launched in the next few days and the  link  will  be widely publicised here, through partners and intermediaries and through emailing to networks  across the GBSLEP area.
